Our Story

Person in camouflage gear tending to a beehive surrounded by bees.

What began as The Bee’s Bean started with a simple focus — bees.

We set out to build something rooted in nature, patience, and education. Working with bees teaches you to slow down. Nothing can be rushed. Growth happens in its own time, and every step depends on care, balance, and consistency.

As the bee garden began taking shape, so did a deeper curiosity — not just about bees, but about the materials and processes around us. Ingredients, textures, and how simple elements can come together to create something useful.

That curiosity led to the first small batches of balms and body care. At the start, it wasn’t about building a brand. It was about making something honest — products that felt good to use, worked well, and stayed simple. No unnecessary ingredients, no overcomplication. Just thoughtful formulations made with intention. Over time, this became Calm Theory.

While The Bee’s Bean continues to grow as an educational space — with a bee garden currently in development — Calm Theory became a natural extension of the same values. Both are built on the same foundation: respect for process, patience in growth, and a belief that simplicity often works best. Today, the two exist side by side.

Calm Theory focuses on body care — creating small-batch products designed for everyday use, with an emphasis on texture, function, and balance.

The Bee’s Bean is evolving into a space for learning and experience — where people can better understand bees, nature, and the importance of slowing down.

This is still the beginning.

The garden is still growing. The products are still evolving. And everything is being built with the same approach we started with — slowly, intentionally, and without rushing the process.
