Building the hive
What began as a family holiday turned into a meaningful journey with nature. While visiting Bintan, we discovered a welcoming, family-owned farm and were introduced to the gentle world of stingless bees. Their quiet importance to our environment inspired us to start a collaboration rooted in learning, care, and conservation.
Today, we work closely with the farm to engage in sustainable honey production from stingless bees and to create a family-friendly bee garden where children and adults can learn together. Our space is designed to be safe, calm, and engaging — a place where families can explore nature, ask questions, and understand why bees are essential to our food system and biodiversity.
Through hands-on experiences, simple explanations, and guided walks, we introduce visitors to stingless bees, pollination, and responsible honey harvesting. More than just a visit, we hope every family leaves with a deeper appreciation for bees, conservation, and the joy of learning together in nature.
Adopt a Tree Programme
Launched in January 2026, our Adopt a Tree Programme was created to support both pollinators and local farming communities.
Each adopted tree contributes to a growing ecosystem that provides forage for bees while supporting farmers on the ground. As the trees mature, the fruits harvested are donated to underserved communities in Bintan, extending the impact beyond the garden.
Every adopter receives a permanent name plate on their tree — a lasting marker of their contribution to something that continues to grow and give over time.
